Master Drawings New York
Past exhibition
Overview
Colnaghi Elliott returns to Master Drawings New York for the second time since the partnership between Colnaghi and Elliott Fine Art was established in 2022.
This presentation builds upon the gallery’s tradition of handling the most significant works on paper, combined with Elliott Fine Art’s interest in bringing to the fore important works by under-represented figures. Highlights will include a beguiling ink and wash drawing by Victor Prouvé of the Italian painter Juana Romani, a work from Picasso's Human Comedy and a series of sketches by Giovanni Boldini. This year, the works on paper will be displayed alongside a few carefully selected paintings by Joaquin Sorolla.
